Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help clients reach goals, build skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences with compassionate daily living support.

We offer weekly direct deposit, competitive pay based on experience, flexible scheduling, paid training and continuing education, plus medical plans including spousal coverage for part-time

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year related DSP experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training prior to your first shift.
• Level 1 Med Aide Certification preferred.
• Availability for at least one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene.
• Helping with meal preparation and cleanup.
• Supporting light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offering companionship and encouragement.
• Accompanying individuals to appointments, errands, or community activities.
