Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities live meaningful lives in their homes and communities. DSPs provide daily care, assist with activities of daily living, and support individuals in a person-centered, inclusive environment.

Full-time second and third shifts, plus weekend day/night options. Starting wage of $15 per hour, with tenure pay scales, annual performance bonus, and shift premium on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration.
• Support community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community.
• Assist with therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.

Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
