Job summary

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with daily living activities at person-supported homes in Tennessee. You will help with meals, hygiene, and medication administration, while supporting therapeutic and behavioral plans with clinical staff.

No prior experience required; we provide training. Must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and pass a background/drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Facilitate community involvement and support therapeutic and behavioral plans with clinical staff.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the exemplary reflection of the wonderful mission-driven work we do here every day. At the end of your workday, you know you have made a difference in someone’s life. Based in our person supported home, DSPs provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals in the community. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
