Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will support daily living activities, foster independence, and help clients reach personal goals with compassion and respect.

Requirements include being at least 18 years old, 1 year of DSP experience, a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness

Qualifications

• Must have DSP experience and be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
• CPR and First Aid training are preferred or required before first shift.

Responsabilités

As a DSP, you will play an important role in helping clients reach their goals, build new skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences while providing compassionate support with daily living activities.

Your Day Might Include:

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene
• Helping with meal preparation and cleanup
• Supporting light housekeeping and laundry
• Offering companionship and encouragement
• Accompanying individuals to appointments, errands, or community activities

What You'll Need:

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum 1 year related DSP experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training prior to your first shift
• Level 1 Med Aide Certification preferred
• Availability for at least one weekend per month
