Job summary

Traditional Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with disabilities in Henryville, PA and surrounding areas. Flexible shifts include part-time and full-time schedules with evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, safe-guarding, and promoting community activities. EVV and mobile-device usage are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

Location: Henryville, PA

Shift: Part-Time, Full-Time, Weekday, Weekend and Evenings, All Shifts

Immediate Openings: 9am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays, 11am-7pm on Wednesdays

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job Duties Include

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skilled
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skillsMeeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements

This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
