Job summary

Traditional Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Kratzerville, PA and surrounding areas. Positions include part-time, full-time, and evening shifts with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include personal care assistance, companionship, light housekeeping, safety, and helping individuals achieve personal goals. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. EVV/mobile device usage is required.

• Must have prior Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience.
• Must have a current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Engage in appropriate communication/social skills.
• Perform light housekeeping and chores.
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills.
• Support individuals in meeting goals and outcomes.

Location: Kratzerville, PA; Lewisburg, PA; Shamokin Dam, PA; Bloomsburg, PA

Shift: Part-time, Weekdays, Weekends, and Evening Shifts Available!

Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Kratzerville, PA - Part-time/Full-time and Weekend Shifts Available
Lewisburg, PA - Part-time, Full-time and Evening Shifts now Available!
Shamokin Dam, PA - Part-time and Weekdays now available!
Bloomsburg, PA - Full-time, Part-time, weekdays and weekends available!

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job duties include:

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skilled
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must Have Current Drivers License
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements: This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
