Salary Range: $19.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are looking for staff in Weld County, particularly in the city of Firestone, to provide one-on-one support for an individual. Staff must handle pick-up and drop-off in Firestone and have reliable transportation to take a young adult into the community for activities such as hiking, fishing, volunteer opportunities, etc. Experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs is required. Experience holding strong professional boundaries with individuals is required.

Expected to work 6-10 hours per week. Required hours are Saturday 9 AM-12 PM, other hours are flexible based on availability and the client's needs.

About the Role

As a community-based Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide companionship, coaching, and individualized support in home and community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care as needed, supporting daily living activities, teaching and reinforcing independent living skills, helping individuals achieve their personal goals, and accompanying clients on community outings.
