Job summary

Impact Support Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist youth and adults with disabilities in home, community, and program settings. You will support independence, health, and well-being through structured activities and person-centered plans.

The role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Duties include documentation, teamwork, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn agency software systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain class E within 14 days of hire.
• Background checks and reference verification completed.

Responsibilities

• Support youth and/or adults with disabilities in structured programs, in-home, and community activities.
• Foster social, behavioral and life-skill development through age-appropriate experiences.
• Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community participation.
• Implement goals, service plans and positive support strategies.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities as assigned.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
