Job summary

Impact Support Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist youth and adults with disabilities in home, community, and program settings. The role emphasizes person-centered support, independence, and participation in meaningful activities.

The position is part-time with weekday afternoons/evenings and alternating Saturdays, offering hourly pay of 18 to 20 dollars and a weekend shift differential. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license (ability to obtain class E license within 14 days of hire).
• Proof of vehicle insurance.
• Successful completion of background checks and reference verification.
• Work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand or sit for several hours and bend, stoop.

Responsibilities

• Support youth and/or adults with disabilities in structured program, in-home, and community-based activities.
• Foster social, behavioral, and life skill development through age-appropriate experiences.
• Support individuals with daily living skills, personal care, and community participation.
• Implement individualized goals, service plans, and positive support strategies.Facilitate skill-building activities that promote independence and personal growth
• Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and programming as assigned.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Salary Range: $18-$20 hourly

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Impact Support Services, you'll provide person-centered support to youth and adults with disabilities in their home, community, and program settings. You'll help individuals build independence, achieve personal goals, participate in meaningful activities, and maintain their health, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Support youth and/or adults with disabilities in structured program, in-home, and community-based activities
