Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at our program in NJ. No experience required—we provide paid training and immediate opportunities to contribute to individuals' daily lives.

The DSP will support with daily living activities, personal care, and helping individuals develop social and communication skills, while fostering independence. We offer comprehensive benefits, competitive pay of $19.13/hour, or $21.13/hour with Enhanced Pay, and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (prefer candidates with their own transportation).
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care.
• Encourage independence by teaching daily living tasks such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Support social and communication skills development and mentor individuals to reach their goals.

Pay Rate: $19.13/hr or $21.13 with the selection of Enhanced Pay

By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.
