Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Blue Bell, PA 19422. The role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities, fostering independence and social skills, and providing companionship. Paid training is provided, with opportunities for enhanced pay.

Schedule is 1st shift, part-time 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday mornings. No prior experience required. Must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, and have a caring, patient approach.

• Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting with IDD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with daily living activities and personal care.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve their goals.
• Support independence by teaching homemaking tasks like cleaning, laundry, and budgeting.
• Follow the Individual Support Plan and help individuals participate in community and garden activities.
• Provide compassionate and respectful care in various settings.

Schedule: 1st Shift
Monday - Friday 6:00 AM-10:00AM
Part-Time | 20 Hours/Week

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Position Details : Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer’s lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals . Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals . By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills . Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.

Earn up to 18.75 with the selection of Enhanced Pay.
