Merakey seeks Direct Support Professionals in Yardley, PA to join our compassionate team.

Ideal candidates will assist individuals with daily living, follow support plans, and help foster independence in various community settings. Full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available, with competitive pay and benefits. Our program focuses on dignity, growth, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsabilités

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including hygiene and personal care.
• Support social and communication skills through activities and settings.
• Teach daily living tasks such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Follow Individual Support Plan to promote independence.

Our idealDirect Support Professionalcandidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer’s lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

Schedule: ALL FUll-time, Part-time, and PRN shifts are available

Base hourly rate $16.00/hour with $2-$3/hour shift differential and the Enhanced Pay option of $2/hour
