Job summary

Connections Services, LLC in Bloomington, MN provides caregiver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. DSPs support residents in multiple Bloomington homes with various full- and part-time schedules.

Starting salary is $17.00-$18.00 hourly, with benefits eligibility after 60 days and scheduling requirements. DSPs perform caregiving tasks, promote skills, assist with meals, activities, IPP development, medication administration, and ongoing resident well-being.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older is required.
• Valid US driver's license is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Willingness to perform personal care for residents (bathing, toileting, dressing, medications).

Responsibilities

• Provide care giver services to residents, including personal cares when appropriate.
• Teach and maintain skills for residents.
• Assist with cooking, meal preparation, and feeding.
• Support hobbies, studies and social activities.
• Participate in development of Individual Program Plans.
• Medication administration.
• Participate in recreational activities with residents.

We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.

We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have various full and part time positions available.

Starting Salary: $17.00-$18.00 hourly, depending on location.

Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do?

DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):

• Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary
• Teaching and maintaining skills
• Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
• Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans
• Medication administration
• Participating in fun recreational activities with residents!

Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees.
