Job summary

Connections Services, LLC in Bloomington, MN is hiring Direct Support Professionals to care for residents in our group homes. Positions available part-time and full-time, with day, evening and weekend shifts.

Starting salary is $17.00-$18.00 hourly, with benefits after 60 days of employment and 30+ hours per week for eligibility. DSPs provide a range of services, including personal cares, instruction, meal preparation, social activities, and medication administration.

• Basic computer skills are expected for scheduling and documentation.

We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.

We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have full and part time positions available;, days, evenings, and weekends.

Starting Salary: $17.00-$18.00 hourly

Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do?

DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):

• Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary
• Teaching and maintaining skills
• Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
• Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans
• Medication administration
• Participating in fun recreational activities with residents!

• No degree is required! If you have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and are over the age of 18, we will provide all of the training that you need to provide high-quality care; no experience is necessary

• Care givers are adaptable and flexible - they enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction that keep their work day interesting

Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees.
