Job summary

May Institute Inc in Massachusetts is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our Adult Residential Program. You will help adults (22+) with Autism and developmental disabilities with daily routines and community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 1 year of licensed driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, structured environment that encourages communication, socialization, and skill-building.
• Use behavior support strategies to promote emotional regulation and reduce challenging behavior.
• Partner with clinical, familial, and healthcare teams to support individualized treatment plans.
• Provide transportation and community integration support for outings and appointments.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 1 year of licensed driving experience required.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to support adults with diverse communication and behavioral needs.
• Experience with adults or individuals with special needs (preferred but not required).
