West Bay RI in Cranston, RI is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help individuals with intellectual, developmental, and emotional disabilities live more independent lives at home and in the community. NEW PAY RATE: $21.50–$22.50/hour with a $1.00/hour weekend differential.

Flexible full-time and part-time schedules, including 1st and 2nd shifts, are available. You will provide compassionate, person-centered support, assist with daily living activities, transport to appointments, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs with assistance if needed.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, push, and pull throughout shifts.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient attitude.
• Genuine desire to help others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and support dietary needs.
• Help with household tasks and errands.
• Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Administer medications and treatments according to policy.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and community involvement.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and coworkers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and respectful living environment.
• Participate in required training and professional development.
