Job summary

May Institute Inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional for their Day Habilitation program in Raynham, Massachusetts. As a DSP, you will support adults with Autism and developmental disabilities in a structured setting focused on skill building and independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with 1+ year of experience.
• Experience supporting individuals with special needs preferred.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Adult Day Habilitation

Make a difference in the lives of adults (22+) with Autism and developmental disabilities! As a DSP in our Day Habilitation program, you’ll provide essential support in a structured, community-based setting that focuses on skill building, independence, and social engagement.

Your Impact

• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals through daily activities, group sessions, and community outings.
• Encourage participation in skill development areas such as communication, socialization, recreation, and vocational readiness.
• Promote independence and self-advocacy in a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment.
• Assist with personal care needs when necessary (meals, hygiene, mobility).
• Collaborate with program staff, therapists, and families to ensure meaningful and individualized support.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Day Shift

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid and current U.S. driver’s license (1+ year of licensed driving experience).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, reliable, adaptable, punctual, hard-working, and energetic
• Experience supporting individuals with special needs (preferred but not required).
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
