Job summary

Venture Community Services in Fitchburg, MA seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. You will advocate, assist with daily living, and support community engagement, with paid training and certifications provided. Schedule: Sun 9a-4p, Mon-Tues 3p-11p, Sat 9a-11p.

Part-time 37 hours/week. Wage $17.50–$19.00/hr with a sign-on bonus of $1000 for full-time and $500 for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or G.E.D. required.
• Ability to participate actively in the community.
• Demonstrated reliability and responsibility.
• Team-oriented and engaged worker.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with everyday tasks and community activities in the group home.
• Escort to appointments, manage basic household activities, and follow care plans.
