Job summary

Elwyn California seeks a Direct Support Professional or Registered Behavioral Technician to support residents in enhanced behavioral residential group homes. You will supervise daily living activities and implement Behavior Support and Health Care Plans, under supervision of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-care, medication administration, safety, and active programming while documenting care and participating in team meetings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid RBT certification or equivalent licensure.
• Minimum 1 year direct care experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license with 2+ years driving in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with self-care and daily living activities.
• Maintain safety and supervise residents at all times.
• Implement Behavior Plans and Health Care Plans.
• Document behavior and health concerns to supervisors.
• Transport residents to appointments in the company vehicle.
• Contribute to ISP/IPP planning with the team.
