Lutheran Social Service of MN is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Our House in Little Falls, MN. You will build relationships, provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and help residents pursue their goals in a supportive environment.

This part-time role offers weekend and weekday shifts, a $17.00/hour base pay with a potential raise to $17.50 after six months, a $2,500 hiring bonus, and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven team dedicated to

Qualifications

• A genuine heart for helping others.
• No prior experience or formal education required.
• Comfort with basic computer use to document care.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• A valid driver's license with safe driving record; DHS background check.
• Will foster independence and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships while providing guidance, encouragement, and support.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene needs, meals, household support/cleaning, and transportation.
• Support community involvement, social connections, and independent living skills.
• Advocate for people with identified needs' rights, needs, and preferences.
• Monitor health and well-being and report changes as needed.
• Complete required documentation and participate in training and team meetings.
• Residential group home setting supporting up to 4 people with identified needs.
• Collaborative, mission-driven team focused on dignity, respect, and inclusion.
