Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities in Lancaster, CA. The role involves daily living support, personal care, meal prep, and transportation when needed, with a $20.00 hourly rate and a $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, crisis management, behavior management, and ABA.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a California Driver’s License.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire).
• Must have First Aid / CPR.
• Background check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with physical and developmental disabilities in daily living.
• Assist with dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming and dressing needs.
• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients per IPP.
• Support IPP/ISP goals and social activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment.
• Assist with client transportation as needed (mileage reimbursed).
• Report incidents and communicate with administrators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

California Driver’s License

First Aid/CPR

CPI (Preferred)

Must be at least 21 years of age
