Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with clients following each ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

The role offers $18–$24 per hour with flexible scheduling and local cases. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, and a compassionate, dependable approach to care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
