Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. DSPs work one-on-one, following each client's ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team within a DDD-focused agency, with pay of $18–$24 per hour based on experience and case assignment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
