Devereux is hiring Direct Support Professionals in New Jersey to support adults with autism and developmental disabilities. You will help build independence, daily living skills, and community participation within a collaborative team.

The role includes thorough training, ongoing supervision, and access to growth opportunities while making a meaningful impact. Starting wage features growth based on education and experience, with strong benefits and a supportive leadership structure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid, non-provisional driver's license.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Two-week paid orientation training that is hybrid and in person.
• Empathy, reliability and a team-oriented approach required.

Responsabilités

• Direct Support Professionals may work in residential group homes or vocational day programs.
• Help ensure the safety, health, and well-being of individuals in our care.
• Coach and assist individuals with daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Support the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs addressing social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based employment, day programs, and outings.
• Build positive relationships with families to help individuals thrive.
• Safely transporting individuals to appointments and activities.
