Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability for two-week paid orientation (hybrid and in-person).
• Demonstrates sound judgment and ability to respond calmly.
• Empathy, reliability and a team-oriented approach to supporting adults with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Directly support individuals in residential homes or vocational programs.
• Ensure safety, health and well-being of individuals in care.
• Coach daily living skills like cooking, cleaning and shopping.
• Plan, implement and document programs addressing social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Coordinate community activities and outings to promote involvement and independence.
• Build positive relationships with families to support progress.
• Safely transport individuals to appointments and activities.
