Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts operates a 4-bed group home for male adults (22+) with IDD/ASD. As a Direct Support Professional, you will coach daily living skills, build relationships with residents and family, and help ensure a safe, supportive home environment in Leominster, MA.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, meals, medications, planning activities, and transportation support to help residents achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• MAPS certification required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and assisting in hygiene routines, chores, meal prep, and activities to increase independence.
• Assist with transportation and support individuals in working toward goals.
• administra tion of medications and required paperwork.
