Grace Reliant Residential Services in the Cape Girardeau/Jackson, MO area is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their own homes. This full-time/part-time role involves helping with daily living, personal care, and transportation to promote independence and safety.

Overnight and day shifts are available with full benefits options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with active insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care in client homes.
• Follow the client’s ISP and care plans.
• Assist with daily living: cooking, cleaning, shopping, hygiene, dressing, bathing.
• Provide personal and medical-related care as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Document care and communication accurately.
• Use de-escalation strategies during crises.
