Job summary

Impact Support Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered direct care in a residential setting in Columbia, MO. This role supports independence and growth through daily living activities and community integration.

The position is part-time with a weekend shift differential of up to $3. A strong emphasis on communication, documentation, and adherence to individual plans is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (ability to obtain class E license within 14 days of hire)
• Proof of vehicle insurance
• Background checks and reference verification completed

Responsibilities

• Oversee and/or assist with personal care and hygiene routines
• Plan and implement community integration activities
• Assist with daily tasks such as meal prep, shopping, and housekeeping
• Maintain thorough documentation, daily logs, and follow each IP
• Provide a safe environment by adhering to emergency procedures
