Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across the state. DSPs provide hands-on support to promote independence and daily living skills under each person’s ISP.

We offer flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, and prior caregiving experience is welcome but not

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
