Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. DSPs work one-on-one, following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

You will provide hands-on support, document services, and communicate with the care team while building meaningful relationships. Flexible hours and local cases help you balance work and life while contributing to a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client’s ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
