Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Allendale, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will help with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to promote independence.

Flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding, and growth opportunities are offered. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after meeting hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals achieve independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Maintain schedules and complete documentation and training.
