Job summary

Independent Beginnings is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Ohio to provide compassionate, client-centered care. You will assist individuals with daily tasks, meals, and personal care, supporting independence in a home health setting.

We offer full-time and part-time shifts including days, nights, and weekends, with competitive hourly pay and bonuses. Training for CPR/First Aid and medication assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license if transporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities including personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed.
