Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one following ISP plans, promoting independence and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain it.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background checks and fingerprinting are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Individual Supports and Community-Based Supports as a DSP.
• Assist with daily living skills (meal prep, hygiene, organization, routines).
• Support community integration, outings, and appointments.
• Encourage independence, socialization, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and ensure safety at all times.
• Document services accurately in HHAeXchange (EVV).
• Communicate effectively with families and office staff.
