Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities throughout New Jersey. We are a DDD-focused agency offering consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team that sets Direct Support Professionals up for success.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's ISP to promote independence

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
