Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. The role focuses on one-on-one support, daily living activities, and ISP-driven goals.

Flexible hours and local cases are offered, with a supportive team and opportunities for growth within a DDD-focused agency. Training and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Experience in caregiving or DSP roles preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation per ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with individuals you support
