Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will work one-on-one, following each client's ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours with $18–$24 per hour, local cases across New Jersey, and a supportive team. CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain; prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
