Job summary

Safe Haven Home Care LLC seeks caring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help with daily activities, health and safety, and community participation, following each person’s support plan with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow ISP/Plans.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and meal prep.
• Provide supervision, companionship and emotional support.
• Support independence and community participation.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Follow ISPs, HIPAA, and Safe Haven policies.
