Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking caregivers to assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal prep, and household chores. You may transport clients to community activities and help them reach developmental goals while promoting independence.

The role requires CPR/FA, NCI/CPI training, a high school diploma or GED, TB screening, and a valid driver’s license. English proficiency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• NCI/CPI Training, CPR/FA, TB screening and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
• Experience with individuals with IDs/ disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal prep, and household chores.
• May transport clients to and from community activities.
• Support individuals in achieving developmental goals and independence.
• Encourage community participation and accompany individuals on outings and social activities.
• Document observations and progress on goals and ensure a safe environment for the client.
