Job summary

DABS, Inc. in Santa Rosa is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will focus on health and safety while offering occasional hands-on ADL assistance.

Responsibilities include ADL support, meals, light housekeeping, medication supervision when needed, and transportation to appointments. You will document changes and participate in interdisciplinary meetings as required.

Qualifications

• TB clearance required per CA guidelines.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Valid California drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25-40 pounds.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision in home and community.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, meals, hygiene.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transport to medical appointments.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
