Job summary

Crest Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a daytime, float position in Iowa. The role offers a consistent 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with 15–29 hours weekly and a $17.00/hour base pay plus a sign-on bonus.

Join a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to compassionate, person-centered support in group home settings across Minnesota and Iowa for over 50 years. No healthcare experience is required for paid training and immediate wage access.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Dependable, compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to adapt to different environments and work collaboratively with a variety of teams.
• Previous experience in medical, caregiving, healthcare, DSP, CNA, PCA, or related fields preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation
• Encourage independence while supporting each individual's personal goals and routines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health, behaviors, or overall well-being
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and activities
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members to provide well-rounded support
• Provide flexible support across programs as part of the float team
