Job summary

Crest Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Minnesota with flexible scheduling and a $15.00/hr starting pay plus a sign-on bonus. You will help residents with daily living, encourage independence, and work in a supportive, team-focused environment across group homes in Minnesota and Iowa.

Paid training is provided, with 8–12 hour shifts and every other weekend. Benefits include health and retirement options, and opportunities for growth within a faith-based nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Previous caregiving, healthcare, DSP, CNA, PCA, home health, or medical experience is preferred but not required—we provide paid training
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Provide compassionate support while encouraging independence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and fellow team members.
• Provide support with specialized care needs including wound care, bladder care, bowel care, and catheter care as needed.
