Responsibilities

• Implement day habilitation service plans (DHSP) for members.
• Document progress and data related to goals/objectives.
• Instruct, counsel, and supervise members in skill areas (self-help, living skills, communication, socialization).
• Facilitate member and group activities aligned with DHSP and schedules.
• Support members to achieve goals using knowledge of learning styles and strengths.
• Communicate effectively with members, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Ensure health & safety procedures and rights protections are upheld.
