Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide exceptional care to residents at Villahaven House in Bethel Park, PA. The role is full-time (40 hours) with a 7am–3pm shift, Sunday through Thursday.

You will assist residents with daily activities, meals, personal care, and transportation in Verland vehicles. Responsibilities include recording progress notes, implementing individualized plans, and supporting residents in social and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and transfer residents
• Must pass a background, physical, and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized care to residents with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges.
• Assist with meals and housekeeping duties (cleaning and laundry).
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Record observations and daily progress notes; monitor client wellbeing.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
