Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care to residents with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a 40-hour work week and evening shifts from 3pm to 11pm.

We offer $20.00 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Training is provided; all hires must pass a background, physical, and drug screening. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, a 403b with company match, tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a full background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Assist with meals, personal hygiene, and housekeeping tasks.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Support planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Administer medications as directed and assigned.
