Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Direct Support Manager in Macomb to lead a team of direct support supervisors and staff. You will oversee residential operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a warm, therapeutic environment where individuals served can thrive.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience (1 year in supervision), with a focus on person-centered planning, budgeting, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience considered in lieu of degree
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience; 1 year supervisory/management experience preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and medication administration guidelines
• Basic budget management skills; strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to translate administrative guidance into everyday care routines
• Patient, positive attitude and passion for working with individuals with intellectual disabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise direct support supervisors and staff to build a high-performing team
• Coordinate and manage implementation of individual program plans and monitor day-to-day operations
• Maintain accurate medical, social, and programmatic files and coordinate appointments and community activities
• Maintain residential facilities, vehicles, and prepare administrative reports
• Monitor safety guidelines, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and OSHA regulations
• Step in to work direct care shifts when needed and provide guidance during emergencies
