Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Direct Support Manager in Macomb to oversee residential services, lead a dedicated team, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a warm, therapeutic environment for individuals served.

Education includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field, with at least 3 years of experience including supervisory roles; strong organizational and budget management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (experience may replace degree).
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience with at least 1 year in supervision.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, medication administration guidelines, and basic budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise direct support staff to build a high-performing, compassionate team.
• Oversee program plans and monitor day-to-day operations.
• Maintain medical, social, and programmatic files and coordinate appointments.
• Manage facilities, vehicles, reports, and petty cash/buying.
• Monitor safety guidelines, regulatory standards, and OSHA regulations.
• Provide on-call leadership and step in for direct care shifts when needed.
