Crest Services seeks a Direct Support Professional Mentor to lead a team delivering compassionate, person-centered care to residents with developmental disabilities and related needs. You will mentor DSPs, promote independence, and ensure safety and dignity in daily activities.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with families and staff. A strong caregiver with 1+ year leadership experience and certification within 90 days is valued. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of leadership and direct care experience supporting individuals with disabilities or 65+.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train, mentor, and support team members effectively.
• Medication Management Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Active Mandatory Reporter Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight to individuals receiving services.
• Promote independence and help individuals achieve personal goals.
• Assist with activities of daily living while ensuring safety, dignity, and respect.
• Train, onboard, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals.
• Provide coaching to help DSPs develop confidence and succeed in their roles.
• Collaborate with Team Leads and Assistant Managers regarding staffing and performance concerns.
• Serve as a communication link between families, administration, and individuals supported.
• Maintain strong team communication and promote a positive, professional workplace culture.
• Support high-quality, person-centered services.
