Job summary

Lel-Home-Services seeks a Direct Support Lead to oversee 24-hour community living homes under the Area Supervisor. You will mentor DSPs, coordinate scheduling, training, and meetings while ensuring person-centered services.

You will collaborate with the IST and Area Supervisor to review service appropriateness, risk plans, PCISP goals, and medical appointments, maintaining compliant records and upholding our mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary degree preferred.
• Two years of management experience preferred.
• Two years of experience serving people with developmental, physical or mental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of intellectual disabilities, mental health, human behavior, gentle teaching, person-centered training.
• Satisfies all requirements under applicable law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work a regular DSP shift.
• Be available days, evenings, overnights, weekends and/or holidays as needed.
• Provide on-call services when needed.
• Supervise DSPs including training, meetings, scheduling and communication.
• Maintain files per laws, regulations and policies.
• Assess risks with IST and implement PCISP goals.
• Attend medical appointments and quarterly/annual meetings.
• Complete monthly financial reports as applicable.
• Monitor medication administration and documentation.
