Job summary

Seven Hills Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional II to empower individuals to live more independent lives in their communities. The role focuses on daily care, teaching life skills, and implementing support plans within a residential setting.

Starting pay is $20.50/hour with location-based differentials; Cape-based programs add $1/hour and Martha’s Vineyard adds up to $4/hour, with additional MAP certification bonuses.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities required.
• Ability to teach life skills and support independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and care to individuals in a residential setting.
• Help individuals build independence by teaching life skills at home and in the community.
• Follow and implement ISP and Behavior Support Plans.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, and health-related needs.
• Support community activities, relationships, and social connections.
• Maintain documentation to track progress and outcomes.
• Take a leadership role by training and mentoring other staff.
