Ocean State Behavioral in Providence/Warwick is seeking a Direct Support Professional (HBTS) for part-time evening shifts, 10-20 hours/week, $27.50 per hour. Work with children to foster independence in home & community.
Position requires at least 19 years old, valid driver’s license, clean background, and DCYF clearance. Prior supervised experience with developmental disabilities or relevant coursework preferred.

Location: Providence
Available Schedules: ( Mondays through Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m . ) OR ( Mondays , Wednesdays, and Frid ays from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m . & Saturdays from 9 to 12 )
Visiting a client’s home three to five days a weekday evenings for a 3-4 hour shift.
Some cases may require a 3-4 hour shift on Saturday or Sunday morning/afternoon
Helping a young person to follow a specialized behavioral support plan developed by their clinical team
Coaching family members and caretakers to reinforce clinical strategies consistently
Documenting behavioral data, shift notes, and client observations
Collaborating with client’s clinical support team
Someone at least 19 years old
With a calm, consistent, and patient personality
Who has supervised experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities OR sufficient course experience in a relevant bachelor’s program
With a valid driver’s license, and legal personal vehicle
Candidate must provide a clean background check and permit the agency to run a DCYF clearance check with the state.
